The "Olives Forever" is probably the best way to translate the name of these three apartments, as an old olive mill is the framework of the apartments Blu, Verde e Bianco. The town of Torria lies about 400 metres high on the slopes of the Impero valley, which allows the visitor a breathtaking vista of the surrounding area with the peaks, of up to 1000 metres, of the ligurian alps. The lovely furnished apartments are modern and bright, and therefore offer a very homely and comfortable ambience. All of the apartments have satellite TVs. From the terrace, one looks down onto the community garden. The path to the centre of town is less than 100 metres long, and in town one can pamper oneself with the native specialities of the restaurant "La Remissa", and do some grocery shopping, as well as buying fresh bread in the mornings. At the large parking lot in front of the house are the trailheads for the hiking and biking trails, and to the sandy beaches of Imperia it is only a 20-25 minute drive. All apartments have access to the swimming pool and common garden.

A lo largo de un trecho de cresta, donde se alternan bosques de robles y castaños con colinas recubiertas de olivos, se encuentra el antiguo pueblo rural de Chiusanico que, según una tradición que ha sido verificada por varios estudios, es el pueblo natal de Cristóbal Colón: como es sabido sobre esta cuestión no hay acuerdo entre los historiadores.
En la edad media Chiusanico era el centro principal del territorio de monte Arosio dominado por los Clavesana. En Castello algunos portales y construcciones se remontan al siglo XIII como la iglesia de San Lorenzo, de ojo único. La iglesia de San Esteban, posterior a la mencionada, conserva todavía los espléndidos mármoles polícromos del siglo XVIII, habiendo sido reconstruida en estilo neoclásico con un proyecto del arquitecto Gaetano Cantoni; en su interior una tela de Giulio De Rossi representa a San Esteban (1579).
La obra maestra de Chiusanico se encuentra sin embargo en la iglesia parroquial de Gazzelli: es el precioso cuadro atribuido a Domenico Piola que representa a la Virgen que visita a Isabel (inicios del siglo XVII). También en Torria no faltan obras dignas de ser vistas: el abrevadero debajo de un pórtico del quinientos, el bajorrelieve de 1477 en la iglesia parroquial de San Martín, el oratorio de los Disciplinantes de la Santísima Anunciación y el santuario de la Virgen de la Nieve. En esta localidad se realiza un concurso fotográfico bienal; la instalación multideportiva está equipada para efectuar concursos de esgrima.
Partiendo de Torria se puede efectuar un sugestivo itinerario que desde un antiguo lavadero de piedra sube hasta el santuario de la Virgen de la Nieve y, cruzando los bosques, alcanza el paso de San Jaime y el monte Arosio. En Chiusanico, centro de actividades industriales y comerciales, es apreciada sobre todo la producción de aceite extra-virgen de aceitunas de Taggia y de los vinos Pigato y Vermentino doc.

Torria is quietly located on a mountaintop above Chiusanico / Pontedassio, about 25 minutes from the sea and Imperia. It has a superb panoramic view of the valley. Torria offers some works of art that are well worth seeing: the drinking-trough beneath a sixteenth-century loggia, a bas-relief dated 1477 in the parish church of San Martino, the oratory of the Disciplinati della Santissima Annunziata and the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. This district is the venue for a biennial photography competition; the sports complex is equipped for fencing competitions.
You can take the path leading from an ancient stone wash-house in Torria and make your way up to the sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve and, passing through the woods, continue on to the San Giacomo pass and Monte Arosio.
A small grocer’s and two good restaurants are located nearby.
Just below Gazzelli, you can purchase the much awarded “Rocca di San Nicola” wine straight from the vineyard (Vermentino and Pigato). Excellent olive oil is also available, which is free of pesticides because it has been grown at altitudes above 400 m. This is also where lots of hiking or mountainbike trails start.

Objekt ist ausreichend eingerichtet; der liebevoll gestaltete Garten erhält 100 Punkte. Genua ( Aquarium), Ventimilia ( Wochenmarkt Freitags ) San Remo; Cervo ( klassisches Konzert bei der Kirche); Alassio ( tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten; öffentlicher Parkplatz bei der Kirche!!) I like LIGURIEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Es war alles vorhanden und wir finden, dass der Vermieter die Ausstattung sehr liebevoll gewählt hat. Wir haben dieses Jahr Albenga, Ventimillia und Dolceaqua besucht, war alles sehenswert. Schön ist auch das Olivenmuseum in Imperia. Essen waren wir im Restaurant vor Ort und haben ein 10-Gänge-Menue im Agritourismo Che de Maisce verspeist, war beides wirklich gut. Vielen Dank für alles!

Liebevoll gepflegter Garten und Terrasse- könnte nicht schöner sein. Sogar im August alles noch satt grün,da Milco nachts immer fleissig gegossen hat! Ein Besuch der Grotten von Toirano und des Ristorante Da Tunu in Dolcedo. Ebenso ist das Olivenmuseum Olio Carli in Imperia (das zudem Kostenfrei ist) sehr empfehlenswert. Hausbesitzer Milco hat sich super um alles gekümmert und ist wirklich gastfreundlich.

Don't think it could be made better!!!! Both restarants are great however the one is a bit out of the way. There is no shop n the village as it is in the next village down. Directions to Bennets would be good. Take the time to explore the valley and various villages Milko the host was AWESOME! A very nice man and his place is a shining star in your renta catalogue
