Isolated from the bustle of the harbour city of Imperia, in the picturesque town of Valloria, lies the house of Casa Loggia. In Valleria itself, often called “Il paese delle porti dipinti” (the town of painted doors), you can expect to be overwhelmed by the prominent artistry on the doors and walls. You can dine at the superb “La Porta dei Sapori” restaurant, with its outstanding ligurian cuisine. The Rustico Casa Loggia is attractively and tastefully furnished and has especially striking floors of natural stone. On the lower floor of the house you will find a large living-room, and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine. The large terrace, which is accessed via the living-room or kitchen, is perfect for socialising and relaxing, with its breathtaking panoramic view all the way down to the sea. As you mount the stairs to the upper level, you will find yourself in either of the two traditionally furnished bedrooms. Here too, from the covered loggia, you have a fantastic view of the entire Prino valley, including the sea and the bay of Imperia, all the way up to the Alpine foothills. Casa Loggia is perfect for those who are not content with just want the sea and beaches, but would also like to explore and enjoy the mountain wilderness of Liguria, as the house is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling in the beautiful local countryside.
Descripción del lugar: Dolcedo
Dolcedo se encuentra en el centro del valle de Prino, y ocupa el tercer puesto entre las zonas de Imperia por la extensión de los terrenos dedicada al olivo (30% del territorio). Antiguo feudo de los Clavesana, el pueblo de desarrolla a partir del siglo XII, cuando el obispo de Albenga encarga la iglesia de San Tomás a los monjes de Lerins, que dan impulso al cultivo del olivo. Es en este período que se construyeron los molinos de agua: la población se desplaza por lo tanto desde las fracciones aguas arriba a aquéllas que se encuentran a lo largo del río, entre las cuales el actual pueblo principal, que en esa época era denominado "Plaza" porque era sede de mercado.
En 1228 el feudo pasa a la República de Génova. La jurisdicción municipal se convertirá en autónoma en 1613.
En las callejuelas del centro se encuentran las antiguas bodegas, y en el pórtico llamado "suttu munte" han quedado las marcas de las antiguas medidas de volumen. Los palacios sobre el Prino y el puente de ojo único constituyen testimonios de una antigua prosperidad. La excelente acústica de la plaza principal permite efectuar conciertos y espectáculos en el espacio cuyo piso es de guijarros blancos y negros delante de la iglesia parroquial de Santo Tomás. De origen medioeval, la iglesia se presenta hoy con su vistosa fachada del setecientos: un baldaquín barroco que enmarca el portal del siglo XV. Encontramos una decoración barroca con fondo color azul marino también en el interior; son notables las obras de la escuela genovesa, entre las cuales los cuadros del ábside de sujeto mariano, que se atribuyen a los hermanos Carrega. El campanario es uno de los más altos de la región. Otros monumentos son la torre sarracena, el oratorio de San Lorenzo y la iglesia de Santo Domingo.
En Ripalta queda aún un puente característico, que en su época había constituido el único acceso al pueblo.
En Lecchiore, en medio de los olivares, vivió durante la infancia el poeta Giovanni Boine.
Las excursiones partiendo de Dolcedo llegan a metas de interés panorámico (como el monte Faudo, 1149 m.) o histórico (como el monte Folia, lugar de hallazgos arqueológicos). El santuario de Lampedusa hace siglos que constituye meta de peregrinajes.
En Dolcedo se juega a la pelota elástica en el campo local de frontón. Son numerosos los picaderos en la zona para los apasionados de las excursiones a caballo.
Descripción del lugar: Valloria
The name Valloria comes from "Vallis Aurea", which can be translated into “Valley of the wind“ as well as “Valley of Gold“; the olives being the gold. Either way the name leads one to believe there is something precious that is being salvaged by the 42 residents. This precious thing, whatever it may be, led a group of natives to band together to try and find out what and where it might be. And so, in 1991 under the name "Le Tre Fontane", the community of friends of Valloria came to be. Thanks to their initiative the town is now a central figure in a whole row of artistic and cultural events, which have in the meantime become fixtures in thousands of Italian and foreign calendars.
No one knows exactly who had the idea to let the doors be at the disposal of the artist, but nonetheless Valloria is a extraordinary open air museum for fascinating paintings. Every year a group of artists is invited to the town and are given complete artistic freedom to do whatever they please to a few doors. This event is normally held during the first weekend of July. And so Valloria has found itself a home in the small circle of artistic towns in Italy who have joined Association of Painted Towns, also known as the “Paesi dipinti” (“Assipad”) of Varese, founded in 1996.
The key to the enthusiasm that Valloria conjures lies within the hospitality of its residents which most notably comes out during the two major, and legendary, town events during the first weekends of July and August. The motto of these events is “A Valloria fai baldoria", which means nothing more than that there is a large party going on. Both events showcase not only the artistic side of painting, but the filling side of Ligurian gastronomy. After everyone is full from all the wonderful food, it is off to dance in the olive groves amidst the trees where invariably new friendships are made and everyone decides they are definitely coming back soon…or at least next year.

Bauen Sie eine Dusche ein, und denken Sie über etwas breitere Betten nach. Den Rest lassen Sie wie es ist. Sehr geschmackvoll und romantisch eingerichtet. Ich glaube, hier gibt es nichts zu verbessern... Restaurants haben wir keine herausragenden entdeckt,und die Landschaft spricht für sich selbst... die ganze Gegend ist wunderschön. ein herzliches Dankeschön...

Fernseher braucht man eigentlich nicht! Aber für die, die Wert darauf legen, müsste dieser ins Wohnzimmer. Unbedingt eine Reise ins Hinterland. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub

War alles o. k., bedarf keiner Verbesserung Schöner Wanderweg vom Ortseingang Valloria aus in östliche Richtung bis zu einer kleinen Kapelle (gelbe Wanderroute, siehe Tafel im Ort). Von dort aus gelangt man auf einem kleinen Pfand hinunter zu einem Bach mit ein paar schönen Gumpen. Dann führt der Weg weiter in den Ort Aquasanta und dann wieder zurück zum Wanderweg Richtung Valloria. Gutes Schuhwerk erforderlich, einige Höhenmeter sind zu überwinden, aber unsere Kinder (5 und 7) haben's auch gepackt. Ristorante im Ort Valloria. Hier kann man sehr gut speisen zu normalen Preisen. Ein komplettes italienisches Menü mit 6 Gängen und Aperitiv kostet ca. 30 ? incl. Getränke und Pasta für die Kids. Der Inhaber (Silvano) ist sehr freundlich. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Die Kücheneinrichtung könnte durch Kleinigkeiten wie Schälmesser, Knoblauchpresse und Schneidmesser ergänzt werden. Sonst war wirklich alles perfekt. Unbedingt im (einzigen) Lokal in Valloria essen, aber auf mehrere Gänge ( ca.6-8 )eingestellt sein. Aber auch die Gastronomie in Dolcedo ist zu empfehlen. Die kleinen Orte in der unmittelbaren Umgebung kann man wunderbar "erwandern".Wer gern reitet findet in Dolcedo einen Hof der Ausritte von mehreren Stunden anbietet. Ein Tagesausflug nach Pieve di Teco lohnt sich auch. Nicht nur Ihr Service ist sehr gut, wir finden auch die sehr freundliche und höfliche Art des Umgangs, sowohl per mail, als auch am Telefon sehr angenehm!

in het dorp zelf is een heel aardig restaurant met een bescheiden kaart. Verder ligt het meeste van dat soort vertier toch richting kust. Hier geniet je vooral van de rust en de omgeving. Ja: bedankt voor de bemiddeling.

Eine Bedienungsanleitung für die Satelittenanlage wäre gut. Ansonsten war alles was man brauchte da. Der schönste Ort am Strand ist Alassio - Sandstrand und gleich dahinter die Altstadt mit schönen Cafés und Geschäften. Sie haben mir zum Geburtstag gratuliert - auch sehr nett. Weiter so. Guter Service!

Leselampe! siehe vorne. Besser wäre eine Dusche, statt Sitzbadewanne. Die Beleuchtung um zur Ferienwohnung zu gelangen könnte besser sein. Als Tagesausflug: Zum Einkaufen eine Fahrt mit der Tendabahn nach Cuneo! Der Feinkostladen in Triora!

Die Altstadt von Nizza ist sehr sehenswert. Für Autofreaks ist der Vorplatz des Casinos von Monaco eine Augenweide. Einen sehr guten und günstigen Eiskaffee gibts am Jachthafen von Monaco. Die Besitzer des Ca da Loggia sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das die Tochter Katja perfekt Deutsch spricht ist für Urlauber, die der italienischer Sprache nicht so mächtig sind, ein riesen Vorteil. Ich möchte auf diesem Wege den Besitzern nochmals liebe Grüße und einen herzlichen Dank für eine schöne Woche in ihrem Haus aussprechen.

Ausflug nach Cervo - hat einen wunderbaren Strand nebst der sehr netten Stadt. Ausflug nach Genua, eine großartige Stadt, der alte Hafen mit seinem "Acquario" ist nicht nur ein Erlebnis für Kinder. Das großartige Abendessen in der "einzigen Bar" in Vallerio...einfach köstlich zu absolut fairen Preisen (selbstgemachte Tagliatelle, ...)

Orte: Valloria selbst (sehr zu empfehlen), Dolcedo (zum Einkaufen), San Lorenzo al Mare (kleiner aber feiner Badeort mit schönem Sandstrand), Monaco bzw. Montecarlo für einen Tagesausflug; San Marta (Kapelle bei einer Bergwanderung); das Restaurant in Valloria Vielen Dank für die Vermittlung des sehr schönen Urlaubsdomizils. Wir möchten nächstes Jahrs möglichst wieder evtl. an Pfingsten in Valloria Urlaub machen und bei BlumenRiviera buchen. Außerdem werden wir BlumenRiviera an Freunde und Bekannte weiterempfehlen. vielleicht zwei Liegestühle auf der Terrasse- das wäre super das Restaurant im Ort hat uns sehr gut gefallen!! Der Strand in Imperia ist durchasus zu empfehlen. Es war ein sehr schöner, erholsamer Urlaub in wunderschöner Landschaft! Schön, dass wir durch Zufall auf die Internetseite von "blumenriviera" gekommen sind.
