Since 1959 the National Gallery is situated in the Palazzo Spinola (1593) which was a villa of nobel families in the past. Today you can still see furnitures and decorative arts from this time as well as a collection of paintings from Italian, Genoese and European artists like Strozzi, Cambiaso and Parodi.
